KAMA Healthcare Leaders Fellowship
The KAMA Healthcare Leaders Fellowship Program invites applications from pre-medical and medical
students throughout the United States and Canada to join KAMA’s efforts in improving health literacy
and disease prevention in the Kurdish community.
KAMA seeks to appoint 2-3 fellows who are passionate about addressing public health issues in the
Kurdish community including prevalent modern diseases that can be prevented or mitigated through
lifestyle modifications, the COVID-19 pandemic and variant strains, and other medical inquiries from the
community. Fellows should strive to empower and educate community members to become more
involved in their health care decisions, thereby helping save lives. Fellows will work with a team of
medical experts to implement innovative health education projects using various digital tools and
community health models.

Eligibility:
- Pre-medical or medical students in the U.S. and Canada
- Candidates must exhibit impactful dedication to eliminating barriers to public health
